Turning the tables on the maxim about stability and service. The suggestion of ‘job hopping’ indicative of the perpetual change in so many facets of contemporary society. The time honoured gold watch for lotalty and long service now an outmoded relic of a progressive (organic) past.

‘Cashing In’ – Barnes

A woman paying for a bottle of soy sauce at an off licence with loose change from a white envelope. A reminder of a time when wages were often dispensed in such a format. The opportunity to make a tangible connection between (your) wealth and/or poverty as opposed to the electronic statement of an ATM.
