Heading east and later west. Passing two men positioned on the pavement conducting a traffic census with hand held technology. En route home another pair are positioned on Lambeth Bridge armed with a more primitive method of counting. A little further on a traffic policeman looms into view from behind the front of a parked coach. Another snapshot gleaned from this stretch of road. The well trodden path, the beaten track…the surveyed highway. No camber unturned.
