A homeless man sat on a flight of concrete steps, crumpled unlit cigarette in mouth, listening carefully to punk music pounding out of his ghetto blaster. Further south another man stands, with pen and notebook, in slight awe at the tube station across the road. Inspiration for a sketch or a poem? Another perspective on public art.
