‘Through The Hour Glass’ – Chelsea Embankment (1810)

A frenetic headlong charge through driving wind and rain. The evening rush hour traffic compressed into a ludicrous hybrid of telescope/kaleidoscope formation. Lane closures for roadworks creating a kind of border control/checkpoint, merely serving to increase the inability of some to remain composed. A lemming-like mentality, as though the attempt at a ‘Great Leap Forward’/push over the top will prolong this mortal coil.
