‘The Tarmac Tide’ – Robin Hood-Tolworth (1300+)

Standing on the ‘bank’ of the furious surge along the A3. A ‘white water torrent’ of traffic tearing out of the city, or sluicing into the network at an ever decreasing speed. The detritus of this highway evident along the edges. Shards of tyre, fragments of bumper, a child’s seat (ejected?) and a breach in the main artery, as hazard tape and cones form a cursory barrier to the debris of an RTA (vehicle(s) ploughing into the threadbare woodland). This dystopian venture all beautifully lit by the winter sun.
