‘A Street Survey’ – A307, Richmond (1145)

Walking towards the railway station from the river. Observing shops at different levels. The faded grandeur of the former  ‘Post Office’, now a clothes store but the original remit still carved elegantly above the plate glass windows of fashion. Other retail outlets now closed, perhaps just reflecting their function. A dull, even drab, frontage now locked and sealed or painted over, in anticipation of a new lease (of life).
