‘Double Vision’ – Bankside, SE1

Approaching ‘The Anchor’ from the west. A large crowd is being addressed by a Spanish woman. Parked behind them stands a Thames Water lorry (driver installed in his seat). What appears to be some kind of performance transpires into coincidence (the tour group having decided to muster in front of the parked vehicle). Tales of liquid history from an infamous riverside inn, juxtaposed with a current water utility company, bearing the name of the ‘strong brown god’).
