‘A History of The High Street’ – Dorking

Walking through the late Sunday afternoon rain, from the ‘antiques quarter’, featuring the house of a ‘Mayflower’ pilgrim, to the town’s cultural arts hub, fronted by a statue of musical civic pride in the form of Vaughan Williams. Bookends to the perpetual change of coffee establishments, charity stores and vape shops in between.
