To hang or to fold? A dispute over a bike left on the carriage floor, as opposed to being suspended from the rack provided. Witnessing an argument between passenger and guard with only the guidance of an occasional word comprehended, and the body language and tone of voice, between the two parties. The dispute seemingly locked in an impasse before tailing off into some kind of mediation. The universality of conflict without access to the linguistic (and cultural) details.
