‘A Broader Canvas’ – Egham/Ascot

Passing an abandoned farm. Amongst the crumbling brick outbuildings a large wall stands tagged in blue and white against the overcast winter afternoon. Further west a sewage treatment works bears the aftermath of a spray can attack, with the uniform concrete now dressed in various colours. A move away from the traditional graffiti targets and, in the case of the farm, presenting a strange ‘futuristic’ landscape to the semi-rural scene. Constable for the 21st century?
