A waterlogged ‘lung of London’. Small pools transforming the relative terra firma of turf into a kind of water meadow. Soaked seating bereft of any occupant. In sharp contrast to the contested space of bench vacancy during the summer months. The regular fixtures of park dwellers and dog walkers in short supply on this overcast final chapter of the year.
