A fox gallops casually along Horse Guards Road, over a wall and on towards the back of Downing Street, sparking both curiosity and fascination in equal measure (uploaded and posted in a flash). The animal returns several hours later, taking the exact route again. Further west a parakeet perches on a low fence, milking the adulation of a delighted public. The new tourist attraction/photo opportunity, outstripping the ever bolder squirrel (or pigeon). A green enigma still shrouded in a capital arrival through the urban folklore tales of Jimmy Hendrix (an alleged owner) and “The African Queen” (Shepperton Studio).
