‘A Different Kind Of Tension’ – Kennington Road, SE1

Walking past a trio of middle-aged men standing on the edge of the pavement all scanning the horizon eastwards. Cameras in hand, but not in pursuit of anyone who might be considered A-list (or Z-list for that matter). Their quarry being inanimate, namely the vintage ‘159’ Routemaster. The mode of utility  transport for the common (wo)man still resonates.
